My experience at university of gastroenterology is and has always been a smooth one, Dr. Berthiaume is very thorough and takes the time to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
I can't say enough about my experience during my recent visit. From the receptionist, to the nurses, to the doctor, I was given the most curtious welcome and attention any patient could ask for; the level of professionalism demonstrated was exemplary. Numerous instances of checking my identity (name & DOB) to ensure that they were dealing with the correct patient who was about to undergo a specific procedure, was but one example. Staff rude. They phoned me , my dr. Referred me and the woman who called told me I'm not supposed to change doctors and ill have to wait until February and then I won't get my colonoscopy it will just be an office visit. Thank God my dr switched me to another dr. Hopefully with more empathetic staff
