Drove an hour and half for a 5 minute meeting. I was in severe pain and when I tried telling him what I was feeling he told me to be quiet he was talking. Said if my other doctors were saying I had bulging disks they were lying, they actually showed the MRI to me btw and pointed out the issues. Said have them circle the scans then they would stop because there isn't any. Said his review which I doubt he even did was my back was completely fine nothing wrong. We saw Dr Belanger for my mother's severe back pain. Very impressive individual. He was thorough, thoughtful, and most importantly, candid. Very highly recommend. I don't know if this is TMI, but as a Medical Malpractice Attorney, I am naturally critical and suspicious. I would trust this guy completely.
Drove 6 hours for an appointment that lasted 5 minutes. Extremely disappointed by the unprofessionalism and complete lack of empathy for a very serious surgery that he said he could do in an hour. He had no response to my concerns and talked around my questions on the procedure and recovery. I can not trust someone with a surgery on a vital part of my body if they are unable to take the time and due diligence to explain how and what they are going to do to your spine. Will not be returning. However the nurses were fantastic!
Doesn’t listen. Doesn’t do his due diligence. Terribly disappointed.
