In my 4 years of shadowing doctors 2 medical licenses and a degree I have never seen care this poor. Went in with very serious symptoms and waited for 20 minutes in the waiting room. 103 degree fever oxygen saturation below 90% and entire left side upper body pain, chills migraine and shakes. Waited for nurse to come in to take his vitals and she took them put the pulse oximetry reader on wrong and promptly left after receiving a correct reading without any discussion. went in at 9:30pm on 4/20. of course they were gonna be busy. they were super sweet and welcoming though, i didn’t mind waiting. dr. hoang greeted me immediately, seemed excited when i said i had an abscess that needed to be drained. it made me feel validated off the bat and also kind of excited myself because i was initially extremely anxious. dr. hoang had phenomenal bedside manner and i was at ease during my entire procedure (it was a very uncomfortable butt abscess.) he kept checking up on my pain and made sure i was com... read more

Nurse Betty was absolutely wonderful. She answered every question and checked in regularly with me. On top of her being an amazing and kind nurse, the entire staff was very attentive and friendly. As someone who has spent lots of time in hospitals and never leave reviews, I highly recommend their ER

ER of Watauga was highly recommended by my nurse friend, so my family and I go out of our way (and pass at least 3 other stand alone ERs!) if we need ER care. Just as other reviewers have stated, I was seen immediately, the medical staff at this location are top notch , the facilities are clean and up to date (imaging, CT, , x ray, etc.) The quality that sets this ER apart from others, though, is the way I was treated as a patient. Came here with my sister yesterday and had a wonderful experience. Everyone was very kind! I loved our nurse India! She was very sweet, caring and attentive, making sure to keep my sister’s pain under control. She helped make an unexpected ER visit pleasant. If we ever need emergency care, we will be back!
