I am writing this both as a patient and an RN who is deeply concerned about patient advocacy. I sought care at this facility after being advised to do so by a physician colleague. Unfortunately, my physical concerns were completely dismissed because of my mental health history. I have caregiver anxiety/depression from caring for my father who is on hospice, which was used by the provider to minimize my current medical concern. My son went in for a collar bone injury he sustained during football. They ended up x-raying the wrong side, sent us home. I called because obviously he knew something was wrong and when we were there we addressed that the incorrect side had been x-rayed but they followed the paper work disregarding our concern. Went back to the correct side x-rayed and sure enough it was broken!! I later called the customer service to file a complaint as we were receiving another bill. Red haired doctor was cocky, unprofessional and overall just mean. We asked her multiple times to use the ultrasound to find the vein on my VERY dehydrated wife but she chose not to although it was sitting RIGHT NEXT TO HER. After many attempts they finally got the needle in just to drop a vial of blood on the floor and have it splatter everywhere. Don’t go there unless you’re gonna die.
We've been here 4 hours and still no x-ray, just blood work... Are you kidding me?!?! It really doesn't take THAT LONG!!! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! I knew I should have taken my daughter to the Reno hospital instead!!! At least there they don't walk in on you while you're changing clothes and then try to help you!!! Ever heard of PRIVACY?!?!
Melissa D and ER doctor kuuskzere is very unprofessional. Melissa D in ER looked like she hasn’t shower in weeks rolled out of bed and has no compassion for patients. When asked her name she gave me a problem which I have recorded and definitely going to get in contact with the medical board. If I can only give them a zero
