Equitrust has awful customer service. Stay away from the agent Jose Rodriguez. My parents have been trying to reach him for the past 4 months and he doesn’t return phone calls. Jose Rodriguez claims to be busy making deals. Yet when I reach out wanting to invest he is ready to make a phone call the same day! Jose Rodriguez is not a quality agent for this or any other company! He lost me as a customer.
Worst service ever. The #866 just hangs up on you. The estate team is completely incompetent and cannot clearly answer any questions! I was given conflicting information multiple times. Please do not pass away with accounts here. Your hiers will never get the money.
They make it intentionally difficult to deal with their annuity products. A questionable life insurance agent sold my in-laws annuities from EquiTrust. He got a huge commission. We have a nightmare. In 2026 their website is 20 years+ behind and I'm sure that's how they want it. Everything has to be done on paper. Real investment accounts you're able to manage online. Not EquiTrust.
This is the absolute worst company in the world. They sent a 500,000 dollar check snail mail through the US Postal Service with no tracking number! Now 12 days later no check has been located, meanwhile no money is invested in the market and I am losing thousands! Never Ever again will I do any business with Eqitrust!!!! Eqitrust you suck and your customer service is terrible!!!! Unhappy customer!
