Have ordered from Northern Fitness 3 times now. First for a full dumbbell set + rack. Second for full power rack (best upgrade to my home gym) and Olympic barbell with plates, and last for an upgraded bench. All have been amazing. Loved the pricing, great service and really happy with the items (have had all for 4 months to 1.5 years). Highly recommend!
I ordered dumbbells and a weight rack from Northern Fitness. When I reached out to Loomis, who was responsible for delivering the goods, they weren't able to guarantee exact delivery dates for my packages. I immediately reached out to Northern Fitness directly via email and was helped by their Director of Ops, Eric. He was quick to respond and worked with Loomis on my behalf to provide me with information on my packages' expected delivery dates. Northern Fitness was excellent to deal with - they set my son up for his summer training for sport perfectly and were extremely patient walking us through the options. Matt was awesome and would recommend them to anyone.
I emailed Northern Fitness 5 minutes after ordering to cancel, but they took days to reply and said it was “too late.” I contacted UPS — only the sender can reroute. Northern Fitness claimed they reached out to UPS but never followed up. I came back from holiday to find 240 lbs of dumbbells + a rack dumped at my door. I emailed again asking what to do. No response. Yet when I tested leaving something in my cart, they were proactive. Feels like they care more about making a sale than fixing problems. Won’t be ordering again.
