Equinox Lincoln Park takes full advantage of being the only decent gym in the nearby area since they know the LA Fitness a block away is a dump. As a result, they charge insane membership fees for being a slightly above average gym. They often have the same repeat issues: No hot water, broken air conditioning, buckets catching water from the ceiling, and functioning but slightly damaged equipment. It’s still a decent gym, but it’s no where in the realm of being worth $200+ a month for just this one club.
Temperature inside this gym is pretty consistently between high 70s to low 80s degrees in the summer making for a very uncomfortable workout.
Christy Pemrick is truly the best yoga instructor I’ve ever had—anywhere. Her classes are the perfect balance of physical challenge and intention. Christy has a gift for creating a space that feels grounded. No other class compares!!!
Front desk not helpful at all, turning away business is what Equinox is amazing at. What a joke.
