Very disappointed with Equinox La Costa. For a gym that charges around $265 per month, I expected a premium experience, but unfortunately that has not been the case. The biggest issue is the staff. Most of the employees don’t even acknowledge members when they walk in. A simple “hello” or “welcome” seems to be too much to ask. Best spot to unwind and build some muscle. Place is always clean and service is great.
This equinox is an absolute disaster. They shamelessly lie on their Google page about having a sauna, which is nowhere to be found. The place is ridiculously tiny and gets unbearably crowded, making it a nightmare to visit. The $265 price tag is a complete rip-off for the pathetic amenities they offer. The lady at the counter, the one with glasses, is not only rude but also seems to lack basic intelligence. Gym should have 24/7 access specially in CALIFORNIA. Some people work HOURS morning and during the day.
