Crowded is an understatement. Staff is the opposite of friendly or helpful.
I booked two spots from 10am-12pm for Kids Club for my kids this morning at around 930am. We were on our way, and the “manager” Melissa calls me and tells me she can only accommodate one of my children. My reservation was confirmed by Kaylee at 9:44am. Melissa was completely insensitive and told me “I have no way of accommodating your kids anymore.” I had referred a few friends to Equinox but will no longer be recommending it. This is unacceptable!
This location is cool, but the staff is not super friendly. It’s one of my least favorite equinox locations, at least compared to the San Francisco ones. It’s a bit smaller and the equipment is lacking. That’s being sad. There’s a decline bench, which seems to be rare so that that is nice. It’s clean a bit so crowded, but there is a free parking garage.
Ugh this place. Managers are superficial and defensive, billing is opaque and error-prone, and amenities don’t outweigh the costs. Also this is not a place you’ll be able to build community (unless you’re the cold and entitled and not-in-the-world Equinox stereotype, then you may have a great time!!) and everyone is on their phones. It’s really sad.
Rude front desk on Sunday 4/12/26. Wouldn’t think polite customer service is a difficult skill but I guess it is for some ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
