Friendly staff, very well kept facility. They truly care about the animals and do a fantastic job! Will definitely be back! Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the Aiken area

I've never been around horses before in my life, but in a few weekends of some volunteer service this last summer, I really found I love it. There's things to do for everyone, I feel like. I brushed horses, bathed them, picked up after them, swept out the storage areas, helped with clipping, did some work with the bobcat scoop, painted fences, rebuilt fences, cleaned water troughs... oh, AND I pet a loveable dog for a hot minute. Best Veterans program. Saratoga War Horse
Equine Rescue does so much for our community in addition to the rescue work of our equine friends. There is the Warhorse Program for our veterans with PTSD , children at risk through the court system and many other community services too numerous to list. Our Aiken Sertoma Club has adopted the Rescue as one of our philanthropies due to the maximum impact the Rescue has on our community.
