If you present to this emergency hospital and are as unlucky as myself and get Dr Mark Rugless as your doctor, run as far away as you can. He was so incredibly invalidating, condescending, arrogant, unprofessional and just plain mean. I haven’t been able to even write this complaint as my experience with him has caused me so much pain and emotional trauma, I begin to panic and can’t continue to speak about it. We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Charlotte, the A&E nurse at Epworth Richmond Hospital. Charlotte is truly exceptional. we could see how dedicated and professional she is. Even though the department was very busy, she remained incredibly patient, calm, and attentive throughout. Her manner was gentle, reassuring, and full of care. Was in here two days ago and the fee of $510 is ridiculous you would of thought you would get in and out quicker but I was in there over 10 hrs and some people went ahead of me regardless of my pain levels that I did not like. The hospital is clean and definitely better than a public hospital however some people going in there don’t know the meaning of emergency 🤣 The staff were very nice especially one lady Megan M at the reception area who I found to be nice and caring even though she had her hands full. Our family want to thank Nurse Pip, Nurse Pru and Dr. James Cameron for taking prompt gentle care of our child when he had a nasty injury. They are a credit to the profession. Faultless.
