STAY AWAY FROM THIS MEDICALLY INCOMPETENT HOSPITAL I am writing to lodge a formal and severe complaint regarding the treatment my mother received in the Emergency Department on 25.1.25, and the conduct of staff during that presentation. EDIT 8/01/2026 I didn’t expect to be editing this review so soon! I gave the five stars obviously depending on the treatment I’ve got on that night in December! I’ve returned to ED on the 8th of January by taxi, due to increasing pain ! The nurse did her job, no criticism there. But the doctor who came a while later, had nothing to say, but just listened to what I had to tell her about my pain& she said: we’re only an ED department, why did you come here we can’t help you?? Well I’ve been suffering & struggling with a bad pelvic floor pain for over five years now! Every hospital I’ve visited , public or private, I was turned away with a pain killer & blood test ! I get told every thing is fine! But I know it’s not fine& it’s been crippling pain unbearable also lower back pain! Was admitted loss of vision Doctor had to get eye drops told me lucky they were there as a long wait from Slade Pharmacy was there 1 hour price gone up to $510 Doctor had to read instructions what to do with my eye cost $768 for the Doctor went on to E &E Hospital only went to Epworth because I panicked will hold out next time obviously taken over Privately John Knott way too expensive now
