Remarkable place, remarkable people. I have spent six weeks at Epworth Elim, in rehabilitation after a total left knee replacement. Every visit was a challenge, a well supported by skilled and caring staff. The gym and hydrotherapy facilities are fantastic, and I felt stronger and more capable after each visit. I could not fault the care I received at Epworth during my surgery and the same quality of care extended to the Elim rehabilitation unit. Just completed my outpatient rehab here with the support of physiotherapist Jacob. Cant praise his service enough. He was attentive, patient yet thorough in supporting my rehab needs, all whilst creating a very chill, relaxed pace for my exercises. Certainly recommend others for rehab here. The hydrotherapy sessions were equally good, not too crowded and self-paced with a very clean good sized pool.
My mum recently spent time at Epworth Rehabilitation, and I honestly can’t speak highly enough of the care she received there. From the moment she was admitted, the staff made both her and our family feel supported, reassured, and genuinely cared for. The team of doctors, nurses, and allied health staff were outstanding.
