Had my surgery at Epworth Hawthorn yesterday and the staff and nurses were so caring and considerate. Thank you so much for the great service - it made going through my first big surgery such a great experience.

I am completely outraged and heartbroken, after sustaining a knee injury while under the care of my rehabilitation clinicians, Dr Matthew Tuminello and Physiotherapist, Ms Michelle Kahn. Epworth Hawthorn continues to demonstrate no liability, stating that my meniscus tear is a pre-existing condition. I was sent home advised to ice, elevate, and compress the knee with no further investigation or follow up consultations. I will preface this by saying that a had a positive experience with most of the staff at hospital. Prior to the operation I made the medical team aware of my plans post operation in my recovery. Post operation I had a conversation with my surgeon about this who gave me advice based on his experience and medical knowledge being a practicing physician.
