I had to attend the ED today with my daughter who was in great pain and unwell. All the staff, admin, nurses and Drs were so caring, helpful and caring with good communication and made our time there very comfortable. I really appreciated nurse Emma's care and approach to dealing with a child. She even took care of me getting me a cup of tea and a sandwich when she head I had not eaten at all for most of the day. I was glad to have the ability to use this hospital while we are travelling from interstate
Just briliant! Staff are so lovely. Remember to be nice to them. Its not thier fault your in pain.
I went to Epworth Emergency yesterday with atrial fibrillation. It was amazing - not long to wait to be seen, monitors in place, tests done, and wonderful doctor and nurses who were kind and caring as well as professional and efficient. We are fortunate to have this available in Geelong.
Went to Epworth Geelong ED with a referral from my GP requesting admission under a gastroenterologist in view of life threatening bowel malabsorption causing frequent profuse watery diarrhoea & significant involuntary loss of weight of 10 kg over 5 weeks. My weight had plummeted from 55.5kg to 45kg.
