I today went for a brain MRI scan, really not something I was looking forward to. From booking appointment with reception to attending the experience was faultless. I would like to specifically mention Chiara (hopefully correct spelling), her manner and care which completely put my mind at rest and made a, not so nice experience, tolerable.
My first experience of an MRI unit was excellent. Lovely staff that explain everything in detail and put you at ease, clean and pleasant environment and quick turnaround times. I was in and out within 40 minutes of my appointment time. The scan was comfortable and they kept checking I was ok. It can be very loud and the tight space might present a problem for claustrophobic people, be sure to mention any concerns before you lie down and are put into the machine!
