If you are ever appointed this lady as your child’s GAL immediately request someone else. She does not seem the best interest of the children and is really confused as to what being a guardian consists of. She is the worst in the state of South Carolina. Also I wouldn’t recommend anyone ever using her for any legal actions. Steer way clear of this lawyer. I do not know how she is even still in business. If I could leave zero stars that is what she deserves.
Samantha Nelson is the WORST lawyer to have in your corner. My son has a Ridiculously long name now because of her being a gaudian on a recent case. She wanted him to have my last name which has issues on its own, and would not listen to what He wanted. He wanted to bring a family name back, but because of Ms. Nelson he has 2 last names in his name and is going to have to change his name twice in his life and not be able to grow up with the name he wants! She is truly the Dr. Sally Smith of Guardian ad Litiums aka she is an awful person who enjoys trying to rip women from their children. She is a miserable person and it reflects in her job.
As for Nelson, I wouldn't recommend anyone retain her for so much as a tragic dispute. She is rude, unprofessional, a liar and has a smart mouth. She obviously has no idea how to do the job of a guardian ad litem, as you can't investigate and report what is the best interest of children, when you do not even see or speak to them... However when she is ask for her report from her investigation, she will flat out lie. Which in some cases could be a very dangerous thing when it comes to the welfare of a child.
