Wanted to get a new prescription prescribed because the previous one was missing the authority number, so I can get that diabetes medication for $25, instead of $149, so a phone call was made to the reception, telling them the issue I have with the missing authority number, and shortly my gp rang me to consult why do I need this medication exactly, the question would make more sense if this gp wasn't the one diagnosed me with diabetes and I'm sure it would be on record, but let's move on. Vivian at Dorevitch Pathology (Epping Family Medical & Specialist Centre) was absolutely amazing. I have severe anxiety around blood tests, and she handled it with so much care and calm. She kept me talking and distracted, and I genuinely didn’t even realise she had already done the blood draw. It was over before I knew it. I’ve been an existing patient for a while, but after today’s appointment I will never be coming back. My experience with Dr Nargis Marsoor was genuinely awful. She was extremely rude, dismissive, and constantly talked over me while I was trying to explain what was going on. Even after giving her my hospital records, she asked pointless questions and basically brushed off everything I said.
