Very disappointing experience, particularly as someone who is new to the area. I took my newborn son to this practice and was required to pay his consultation fee upfront over the phone, despite having already submitted his newborn Medicare enrolment. When I paid for my own appointment at the time of the visit, there was no prompt or request to pay for my son's consultation. I’ve only ever been here for blood tests and the blood test lady is magnificent - but the blood test area is FREEEEEZING cold. I was shivering so bad that I went stand next to a sunny spot in the consult room hallway and was asked to leave by one of the doctors because they thought I could hear their consults. Fair enough, but the only other option was to sit in the regular waiting room where the door was constantly opening and closing. Had an appointment with a doctor and waited till I could be seen I had to leave and was told I’d receive a phone call did not receive my phone call and all the doctors had gone home and I was not able to receive my script that I urgently needed this isn’t the first time my appointment has been “forgotten”

I visited this medical centre for the first time after it was recommended to me, as my 1.5-year-old son had a severe cough. I completely understand that doctors can become fully booked, and my disappointment is not that my son couldn’t be seen. It was how the situation was handled by reception. I politely asked if any of the doctors could fit him in by any chance. The receptionist said she would ask the doctors and told us to take a seat.
