Great place – I hosted an event for a non profit I volunteer for and it was a major success. The night started off slow but those that showed up loved the restaurant so much that before I knew it, it was filled with guests that had not confirmed attendance. The place is beautiful and truely unexpected from within.
Once in a while you find a business that doesn't really fit with all of the businesses around it. Epoca is a very cool hole in the wall. I had a great meal there but had an even better time talking with friends over drinks. It was calm but the crowd was good. The people there all looked professional. The waitress told me that they aren't haveing a grand opening for a while but if you can go when they are open, it's a good time.
