I had the opportunity to attend Lisa’s Self-Defense Empowerment Class at Dominican University New York during Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and it was such a valuable experience. Lisa created a supportive space while teaching us practical skills to protect ourselves. The hands-on approach really helped build confidence and made the lessons stick. It was so fun and so powerful. I’m so grateful DUNY brought this class to campus. it’s something every student should experience.

I just took Lisa's self-defense empowerment class, and wow! It was thoughtful and challenging. I wasn't sure what to expect, and was very surprised at how hands-on it was. That will really help us to remember the important lessons she taught all of us. Thank you Lisa for sharing so much of yourself, and teaching us such important skills and techniques.

I recently took a class with a friend and it was terrific!! Different than anything I have previously attended, which had always been "lectured based". This had lots of explanations and excellent examples but the most meaningful impact was the hands on experience. We often learn better by "doing" and practicing and she had us do just that!! Well worth it!! Thanks for empowering us!!!
