Ashley Woods has provided a safe, caring, welcoming environment for my parents! Rather than limiting their independence or “taking it away” I would say that their independence has increased, as they now have the energy to participate in the things they enjoy as opposed to all their energy going to sustaining life in their home! Mom had really blossomed since moving to Ashley Woods. She has residents to interact with at meals and activities, and she loves going to all the daily activities. Not having to do laundry, cleaning, shopping or meal prep has been great. She gets her own rooms with familiar furniture and can decorate how she wants it.

Only four months after moving our loved one into Ashley Woods, we were told by the staff that Ashley Woods Memory Care is only a "social memory care facility". They do not have the ability to provide a safe environment for people that have actual memory disorders and can not care for them with the love, compassion, and respect that they deserve.
