Good food, bad tap water. I recommend getting bottled water. I love the farm to table, organic, local vibes. The food was good overall but not the best. Salad was overdressed. Salmon was severely undercooked and needed to be sent back. Ice Cream was not very good and was definitely meant to be a garnish for other desserts and not eaten by itself. The food was amazingly delicious, fresh and the customer service was perfect! This restaurant located in Bloomington, Illinois is a hidden treasure. I must confess that out of 7 countries, 30 states, and over a hundred top restaurants in 70 years, this unexpectedly became my #1. The menu was the real surprise.
Had the fish bowl. Very nice, good price for a poke bowl. Missed the lunch menu by half an hour. We made the best of it.
we drive over an hour and a half to come here for our anniversary. it is one of our favorite places anywhere. farm to table and very unique menu. the pave potatoes are out of this world. we have had multiple items but my wife loves the lamb. I prefer the filet oscar. many drink choices and they usually have some jelly and things like that you can purchase on the way out.
This is a very unique restaurant, especially considering they have their own farms, growing their own vegetables. Anju Above is excellent also. It has always had a great atmosphere, with very good service.
