I have been buying Epica refills exclusively for years now. It may mean that I’m not a frequent purchaser, but I come back every time. The mostly lay flat binding is tremendously important to me, as is the fact that even laying flat it maintains its integrity and doesn’t lose pages. I love EPICA journals and albums. My last order was for inserts for my personalized 9x12 leather journal with my name written on the cover, using my own handwriting. CRAZY BEAUTIFUL My incomparable World's Largest Journal (binder with no paper, per my request) is tops. Another fine creation is THE WORLD'S THICKEST JOURNAL large leather and wood. Mostly I like the look of the journals. It is very nice to own a piece of quality leather bound book with nice paper. I have a many that are unused in case I need them in the future. Others I use for special notes/writing. I have given a couple as special gifts. Mostly, for me, it is about owning something that is unique and high quality. I have a sort of odd enjoyment out of have nice blank journal and the Epica journals are certainly the best ones I own.

I have purchased three classic leather journals from Epic over the last three years and have continually been impressed with the quality and color of the leather, the embossing, the paper, and the customer service. Their leather and journals surpass any other options I’ve seen and have the exact Italian feel I was looking for.
