The staff at the Ideal Beach location were great! Our kids loved the water trampoline and kayaks.
Friendly service on the phone and in person. Once you pay, you’re on your own to grab a kayak from their pile, load up, and figure out where you can get in the water. There was no checkout to verify the condition of the kayaks, which made me a little worried considering one had a dent and the other a torn handle. That said, the kayaks handled just fine. When we returned, two friendly ladies helped us unload, and all seemed well.
Very convenient place to rent from at North Beach. It did seem like a bit of a "bait and switch" though when they advertize their boat rental at $660 and then with all the hidden fees its $200 more...totalling $860 for 4 hrs! I even went the day before to confirm everything and was told that since I was a repeat customer their would be a discount. Then when I showed up to get the boat I was told that wasn't the case! Clearly they need to be more organized!
