I've heard from others they offer complementary bread- we have never been offed this even after spending 100+ dollars here. I got the "cocoa truffle" skirt steak-ordered medium rare. When I received the steak, 50% was charred to the point it was inedible, and the steak was cold- not even slightly warm. The risotto beneath it was not seasoned at all and was piping hot. Very disappointing. Catering? Be warned. Our private event was 24; we were larger than the entire restaurant population that night. The food was less than stellar. Not once did a manager visit to check on things. The cake was cut in pieces ranging from 6” cubes to a small 2” triangle. I think Epic is way out of its league for catering. Chef was just making the motions. Perhaps you should look elsewhere for a catered event. The lack of protocol and training for an event like this was very evident. Conveniently located in downtown K'zoo. Both the Tap House and Bistro menus are diverse and delicious. From the beef filet, wood oven pizza, or hot wings, you really can't go wrong. Brandon also has one of the better wine lists in the area to complement your meal. Highly recommend either side for a quick bite or an enjoyable dining experience.
Great food and nice atmosphere. Mahi tacos and slider burgers were very good!
