Checked their hours before I left my house. When I got there, their sign stated the same hours as the website, but they were closed. There wasn't a note or anything on the door either.
I took in my bike and asked for new tubes and a simple break repair. They said it would be ready in 5 days. 5 days later I called. I had to call 10 times throughout the day before someone answered the phone. They said they hadn't even started yet. They said it would be ready the next day. When I went to pick it up, they hadn't even started on it yet and they told me that it would cost more than they had originally told me. I went to multiple shops around. I was suprised to find such a great selection. I have huge feet and the other shops I went to didn't even have something close. Epic had two pairs for me to try on. They gave me an offer I couldn't refuse, unlike all the other shops this one really wanted my business. I would highly reccomended getting a bike or gear from Epic. This is now my bike shop. I am very happy with my new bike and I am happy that such a great shop has my back for all my biking needs.
I like locally owned businesses because they are invested in the community. Epic Biking is one of the best. Dan and his family have been running Epic Biking in Saratoga Springs for about 5 years now. They continually sponsor local clubs, put on events and promote participation through free advertising. I am always greeted warmly when I go through the door.
