Our family was on vacation when we had the chance to go off roading with Epic 4x4. Our guide for the day was gentleman named Clay. He was both engaging and very informative during our tour. As someone who has not done any off road driving his tips that he gave over the radio were helpful. The chance to have some fun driving over the burms was probably the highlight of the drive for me, even if my kids kept saying that they were going to die, all with a big smile on their faces. We surprised our 5 teenage kids (19 down to 12) with an Epic 5 hour 4x4 adventure and it did not disappoint! We chose to do part scenic route (amazing!) and part 'play' or real 4x4ing, which was super fun for all of us. The staff was very friendly and professional. We first went to the Wind Caves, which were fun to get out explore in. Then we did the Fins 'n Things trail. I would not recommend doing a 5 hour with kids younger than 12. We had an absolute blast with Epic 4x4 Adventures! The scenery and the trails were truly out of this world. Having an enclosed, air-conditioned 4x4 was an absolute game-changer and kept us so comfortable. Our guide, Travis, was phenomenal—kind, intelligent, funny, and incredibly personable. He did a fantastic job of engaging with all the guests, asking questions, explaining things clearly, and keeping us completely safe throughout the trip. Highly recommend asking for Travis!
We had a blast! Our tour guide Thor was extremely helpful and fun to be around. The trip was easy enough to have several different skills of drivers tackle, the stops were awesome and very memorable. Thor provided water and snacks along the way and headlamps for the caves at the end. I would 100% do this ride again. Also signup in the beginning was super easy!!
Great experience. Highly recommend this adventure to anyone visiting Moab. Awesome group of employees that kept the flow moving from check in to check out . Alex is great with his customer service skills. Travis (aka Capt Fly By) a Skilled guide that had the interpersonal skills to communicate and make novice drivers feel comfortable out there.
