Dr. Church was the 4th. neurosurgeon my mom saw for her aneurysm. The other 3 doctors all had very different approaches of how to treat the aneurysm. Each one of them had a different approach than the last one, & they all said it was too dangerous to clip her aneurysm. When Dr. Church heard this he said "what do you mean? Our son just had brain surgery with Dr. Church and he not only has the most expertise and extensive background but his bedside manner explaining the operation and care afterward to our four year old and us has been beyond our expectations. We are very thankful for his knowledge and care.
In 2022 I presented to Penn State Med Hospital with bleeding on the brain; my attending was Dr Church! I was diagnosed with Subachnoid brain hemorrhage. I was in the Hershey area visiting with friends and this incident happened. I spent 2 weeks in ICU and Neuro ICU. Dr Church was absolutely amazing!! My husband Tim Shope had a stroke Jan 27th he is still in the hospital, but Dr Church is one of the most caring Dr that we have had here. He is one top notch Dr. God bless!!!
