EPCOR, I would not give you even one star. This is a very bad company, and I hope I never have to deal with this company again. Today, you turned off my power, even though I never used the service the way you are claiming. Your customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. You are charging me more money, and I do not understand why. I have tried to deal with you and explain my situation, but I feel like nobody is listening or helping me. I am very disappointed and frustrated with EPCOR.
Have not had my power disconnected since I've lived in this home for 15 years. My wife forgot one payment, for a total of less than $500, epcor shut our power down with NO NOTICE GIVEN. They said they made a phone call but there is no record of such. Not a big deal right? They then proceed to tell You that it will take up to three business days to have your power turned on unless you pay a $300 Rush reconnection fee. And then it can take up to 48 hours. For the past 15 hours, a loose power line has been lying on the ground in our yard. We immediately called 911, the fire department, and EPCOR's emergency power line at around 10:00 p.m. last night. Every agency told us the same thing: stay at least 33 metres away because the line is potentially energized, and a crew would be dispatched as soon as possible. Worst service, called them for issue with water meter, was put on hold for 35 min, nobody took the line, had to hang up.
