The director Chad is arrogant. He doesnt care about people there. He will kick you out in the middle of the night even if you dont have a ride. My family members belongs were left behind because he wasn't going to be able to carry everything and walk for 5 hrs back to his destination. Chad also didnt let him go pick up his belongings. He had to wait a week to get his belongings dropped off, only to find stuff missing! Horrible place. They show favortism. And of course people get high there. Would not recommend.
Agree with Andy….that Lake Shore was a joke. Everyone was encouraged to attend but there were no consequences for those that didn’t. The peer recovery specialist that helped me dropped me off to another facility without telling me I was responsible for rent and now I’m in the shit to find a job that is hard to obtain with my record or become homeless. She also said to reach out to her as soon as I needed help but never responded to my messages. Thank you recovery specialist Emily for helping with my GA which is now rent and ... read more

Getting everything a person needs in early recovery taken care of for you and lining up everything for our near future. The Good: The counselors care and are very attentive to our needs and help build a treatment plan worthy of a valiant attempt from ou... read more
The curriculum at this program was very poor, clients could choose to go to no groups whatsoever and do no work, without a threat of dismissal, and still graduate in the same amount of days as the ones there really putting in effort to work on themselves and their Recovery. Generally, a very unprofessional staff from top down who broke HIPPA and confidentiality constantly, and had no clue (or desire) when it came to relevant subject matter related to Chemical Dependency and Mental Health. Motivational videos and documentarie... read more
Terrible treatment by staff. Techs were great, nurses were great, counselors and director were immensely unprofessional. Passive aggressive, rude, spoke openly about clients where it could be overheard, mocked me to my face. I was an elected peer leader there out of the entire group and they would refuse to meet with me which went against policy. Others I’ve met have had similar experiences.
