I got the cataracts in my left eye removed 3 & 1/2 months ago. Dr Rivers is a wonderful professional doctor with years of experience. I was a little concerned about the procedure and he assured me that it was not painful just a bit uncomfortable And it turned out to be true. I will take a bit uncomfortable everyday in place of pain. 2025 Update: Even more highly recommended! I'd been a contact lens wearer for about 25 years and I got to the point where I was finished with re-ordering contacts, getting new (unchanged) prescriptions every few years so I could upload these prescriptions to get contacts, buying solution, buying travel-sized contact solutions, packing extra glasses for travel, risking eye discomfort or infection when traveling or camping, and all the other stuff that goes along with the vision correction I'd used since my early 20s. WOW. EXCELLENT! I researched several places before I made a decision to go with Dr. Rivers and Envue. I am SO glad I did!! The entire process was excellent. From the initial contact with Bryan (very courteous and knowledgeable) to the eye exams by Angie; to the actual visit with Dr. Rivers -- WOW. Excellent!! Dr. Rivers is my chosen opthalmologist from now on!!! I would not entrust my eyes to anyone else.
I met with Dr. Rivers for a virtual consult and he was so kind and helpful! He selflessly recommended a type of lasik that he did not provide since he felt it was best fit for me. I was sad I wouldn’t be receiving lasik from him, but grateful for his guidance!
I had a great experience at Envue Eye & Laser Center, Dr Bruce Rivers and the rest of the team were very helpful and kind, and also gave me very helpful information about my recovery process. I will definitely be recommending my peers to this post place!
