Envision Utah is an organization of people that are not mainstream citizens, giving people the impression that they are making the community better. If that were true, there would be no inland port... and we would probably have more trains to places like The Great Salt Lake, Southern Utah, Vernal, and more in central Utah.. they don't fight for things the every day citizen uses.. just things that will fill their pockets with more money
End the support for the inland port!!!
Envision Utah is bent on promoting and distorting the impact of the Polluting Inland Port. This organization is helping investors push for a project that will increase pollution in the already toxic air of the Salt Lake Valley, harm our Great Salt Lake wildlife, and take land and tax dollars away from SLC. The project will only bring low-paying, almost no benefits warehouse jobs and will only benefit the wealthy investors that hired Envision Utah. Envision Utah is a duplicitous organization claiming to work for the betterment of Utah but actually working to better the bottom line of polluting companies that will further degrade the quality of life of Utahns.
Really disappointing to see how Envision Utah has gone about its work for the Inland Port Board. The community opinion survey they are running is embarrassingly biased -- geared towards creating positive images of the port, with no opportunity for citizens to express real dissent against the project in general or the way it has been handled by the state. This is not how you solicit genuine community input and the leadership at Envision Utah should be ashamed of it.
It is certainly disappointing that Envision Utah is actively supporting the Inland Port. This is an environmental disaster for the people on the Wasatch Front who will suffer from increased pollution and for the many migratory birds that use this area for resting and refueling during their long travels. This badly tarnishes your name and diminishes your effectiveness as an organization looking out for the well being of the people of Utah.
No inland port!!!!!!!!!!!
