The issue is the inconsistent experience I’ve received from the same dealership. I’ve been servicing my 2018 Camry for the past 8 years, and this is the first time I’ve ever experienced someone denying a Lyft ride for a 1.5-mile trip back home. Ridiculous wait for an oil change. What’s the point of having an 8:15 drop off time if you don’t get your car back til 2? Takes me about 2hrs total for the same services at my local auto shop. Would not have come, even with their coupon, had I known I would wait this long. They also gave me an expensive list of things to address, such as replacing spark plugs. But they clearly didn’t check because I had those replaced last year. Saving grace was my service advisor, Erick Morales. Nice guy but won’t be back.
We used to go to this Toyota 15 years ago. We returned to it following a move back in state and, unfortunately, it isnt the same. The younger servicemen and women outside have no sense of urgency (I say this as a 20 yr old myself) and we've been calling back and forth trying to get a refund on a service plan and they keep us running back and forth between service and financing. What a joke.
No. Just no. Went in for an oil change and tried to upsell me on everything. 60 dollars for windshield wipers and 300 dollars for a battery?? You can get this for less than half at Amazon and Oreillys Do not pay the extra 50 dollars to have your car "looked at". I dont know what kind of test they did, but didnt show me any results. Just said, "yout car needs a new battery". I came in yesterday with my pops to get info on some questions we had and saw the camrys on our way in and they already had my attention for a couple of months because they are such exquisite yet very reliable cars. Yesenia was happy to help out my pops and me. went to go look at the camrys within my price range and gave me the opportunity to test drive the same car I drove out the lot with.
