Absolutely unacceptable customer service. I called ahead to make a reservation and explicitly informed them I was traveling in from Whiteman Air Force Base and would arrive right around 6:00 PM. I was explicitly assured that I was good to go and that they would wait up to two hours for my arrival. At 5:45 PM—15 minutes before arrival and after driving all that way—I got a call saying they might not have a vehicle due to a shortage of returns. Cody was very helpful and friendly at both pickup and drop off. Limited hours of operation caused me an additional trip to Springfield to return the car.
