We rent a van in Seattle on Feb 26 and returned on Feb. 27. We left two jackets, with two passports in pockets, $8000 and a tripod in back seat. 20 minutes, I returned to van return place. We were told that nothing left in the van. But the Alamo Seattle station returned our tripod next morning when we returned to the station next morning, but no passports and $8,000. Very bad experiences. It should be no star!!!
Good car. Good prices. I would definitely use them again. The only part of the experience I didn't appreciate was the high pressure sales tactic to prepay for a full tank of gas. It's NEVER an advantage to prepay gas. Alamo (and all other car rental companies) need to start being FAIR and stop baiting consumers to prepay for gas they cannot possibly use all of.
