Mostly good cars but too much pressure was applied during the sales process to get me to take mechanical breakdown insurance when it’s very costly, has high excess and too many exclusions. Buyers are covered under the Consumer Guarantees Act anyway but if they’re concerned, they can get a mechanical inspection done. Apart from this, the whole process was done pretty well. Great selection of cars, got a really good deal. Staff were friendly and positive, went through all the options and helped us pick a good car. We had to return as there was a small fault in our car (an amp was wired wrong and caused a dead batter, no one even knew there was an amp in the car), workshop manager made sure we were looked after when we returned car for a fault, it was fixed and sorted out quickly and they even replaced the battery for a new one at no cost. I purchased the car only a week prior to bringing it in for a WOF at your Hamilton branch. I was then told there was a problem with the steering rack and that my car was already up on the hoist.
