Entergy is a horrible excuse for a power company. They can’t even keep their own equipment up and working. They have made me waist hundreds of dollars of food. They make it a horrible experience to come home from a day of work and not be able to relax cause we can’t see anything in the house or prepare food. Entergy is decent. In Louisiana they do a great job restoring power and fast I've seen it first hand. My big issue is not providing accurate restoration times. Last time our power went out they told us it would be out till 12 the next day when it was currently 3 or 4 the evening before. So we left to stay with family since we have 2 young kids. The power was back on by the time we went to bed. Fast forward to tonight. We are told it would be back on by 8 pm same day. Then it pushes to 9 then 11 then 12 and now it says 3 or 4... read more
Power goes out every time there is a strong breeze. Takes hours to get it back on. Third world service. Should be sued out of existence in this heat.
Do not count on them to keep your lights on. Hot sunny day, powers out, little rain, powers out, windy power will go out. They need to be held accountable and not be allowed to be the only power company.
