The most unreliable power company I've ever had. The power goes out over any little thing. The estimations for restoration are never accurate. For example it's currently 1:05am and they tell me the restoration is 12:30am. It will also say that our power is back on when it isn't which is incredibly frustrating. Talking to reps on the phone, you will get a different answer to a simple question depending on who you speak with. EDIT: By your copy and past response it's clear you did not read the review. How else would I have found out that you can't backdate a bill? Clearly, I was on the phone with customer service so calling you again won't solve the problem. Your response shows your incompetence. Entergy says they cannot back date my shut off date. I lived in an apartment complex. Every other power company I've done business with is able to adjust the billing date so the correct people are being billed for what they use. By far the worst power company I've ever had. It won't even be raining and the power will go out. Don't even think about having power during a windy day or thunderstorm, much less 5 days of a tropical storm. Pathetic response times and over priced for the unreliable power supplied.

We were customers of Entergy for over 5 years—always paid on time, never a late payment. Now that we've moved and need a simple credit reference for our new utility provider, Entergy has gone completely silent. Multiple requests, no response. It's incredibly frustrating that after years of being a reliable customer, they can't provide a basic courtesy. If you're in an area where you have a choice—choose anyone else. This is not a company that values or respects its customers, even the loyal ones.
