I'm 23 with chronic ear problems. I initially went because I had a severe infection in my ear canal. He drained the pus and gave me ear drops and the problem was resolved. I regretted not seeing Dr Balchalter sooner. With the ear cleared he noticed I have fluid behind my ear drums, and some negative pressure problems as well as hearing loss. I found Dr. Buchalter to be completely uninterested in my problem. He directed me to deviated septum surgery, when my problem turned out to be completely unrelated! I swear he did not listen to a single word I said! Avoid.
Dr. Buchalter is an excellent physician. He has treated 3 generations of our family. Everyone right down to my 7 year old grandson feel confidient when they are being treated. FYI my grandson's first visit was at the age of 2 or 3.
Excellent care. He was very knowledgeable. He was very skilled. He was patient with my anxiety over the surgery.
Surgery went very smoothly and the results were very effective. Preliminary work and follow-up were also excellent.
Dr. Buchalter is a wonderful doctor and is very educated. He explained my problems in detail, listed courses of action that will address my problems, and let me ask ample questions about the courses of action. He is really caring and interested in his patients. A few hours after my surgery, he called me to make sure that everything was okay and to see if I had any needs or questions. The BEST ENT!
Dr. Buchalter has a bad attitude. He is not friendly and ignored my crying about getting surgery. I found his attitude to be very arrogant when I asked how many surgeries he had performed. I can not seem to dig up any other dirt on him, so I will be proceeding with my surgery June 12th. Wish me luck
Dr. Buchalter was not helpful. He avoided my main concerns and started talking about my deviated septum. I was visiting him for some fairly severe symptoms, so I was not happy at all when he didn't address those at all and instead suggested surgery for a slightly deviated septum.
