Since having surgery with him, I now have nerve pain in my nose and even ringing in my ears. I contacted him many times and he offers no help for this. Instead of showing any concern for the pain I'm going through, he only seems interested in denying the surgery could have caused complications. He's too old to be doing surgery, anymore.
This doctor told me I needed sinus surgery. When I told him I wanted to get tested for allergies and put surgery off as a last resort, he got irritated and said "Well, if you want to live with this, it's your nose." I was very put off by that. His answer seemed to be surgery or nothing. I figured he would just refer me to a surgeon, anyway, I was very surprised to learn a man that age was still operating. Makes me uneasy.
Be careful. Dr. Weprin should not be doing surgery. For over a year, he has denied responsibility for severing a nerve in my neck when removing a lymph node. I knew it immediately when I came out from anethesia. The problem has affected my ability to speak and eat. I will now be seeing a renowned micro plastic surgeon about repairing the nerve but I don't know yet if it is repairable. Dr. Weprin has continued to say it will come back. This doctor needs to retire.
Dr. Weprin is an excellent Surgeon. Did a fantastic job with my UVPP and rhinoplasty.
