If you need a hearing aid DO NOT go to ENT and Allergy. Everytime your hearing aid needs adjustment you are forced to see the doctor first. Big insurance racket going on.
Super unprofessional, doctors will prescribe OTC meds, not answer calls from the pharmacy, and can’t accommodate slight lateness to video visits. They’ll also make you wait an unbelievably long amount of time for in person visits.
Similar to other people, I got hit with a ridiculous surprise bill at the end. They charge $300+ for sticking a camera into my nose and throat - they bill it as an endoscopic surgery, despite it taking about 3 minutes to check both nostrils. Of course on the way out you notice the little sign on the wall saying “some procedures may be billed as surgeries”. I know of no other for profit industry where you are stuffed with services you don’t understand, and at prices you don’t know beforehand. Egregious and vile.
