For healthcare, if there is a patient portal for new patients to upload new documents and insurances, I would expect the practice to check in network/out of network coverage and let the patient know in advance. There is no heads up until you get to the appointment and cannot be seen because they are out of network. However, they will send automated texts everyday reminding you of the appt without confirming if you are in network.
I am so disappointed with this office and the level of patient care. I have called four times in the last five days asking for a callback to consult with the doctor about my toddler’s allergies and their interactions with a recommended vaccine. Despite being told my messages are being marked “priority” (last Thursday) and “urgent” (today on Monday) no one has called me back. This is honestly appalling.
Dr. Rechtweg is incredibly personable, kind, smart and patient. I was a new patient and he made me feel like we were old friends. He explained everything to me clearly and I was very comfortable. I was able to make an appointment easily on line as well. I highly recommend this doctor.
