My solar system with Enphase Energy stopped reporting production to PSEG Long Island in July 2025. I only discovered it in January after getting very high electric bills. Enphase says they sent emails, but they went to my junk folder — no phone call or direct alert. I had to pay $450 out of pocket to replace the gateway just over 5 years into ownership. This company is deceptive and operates like scammers. They contacted me claiming they “work with SolarEdge” and had detected a technical deficiency with my solar panels. They said they needed to come out to fix it at no cost, as part of a service through their “partner” relationship with SolarEdge. Two people showed up dressed like electrical technicians. Enphase does not stand behind their products and passes costs onto customers that should have lasted longer: sold system with 3G modem that phased out 1.5 years into a 5yr cellular contract and then wanted to charge for an upgrade to the modem in order to stay connected to the prepaid 5yr plan. Classic used car salesman bait and switch, and/or screwing over their customer, not standing behind their product.
DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY SOLAR PANEL I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO REACH OUT FOR 2 YEARS WE BEEN GETTING THE RUN AROUND. WE WERE NOT TRAINED OR SHOWN HOW TO USE THIS EQUIPMENT . I WAS TOLD THAT THE INSTALLATION COMPANY THAT INSTALLED OUR SOLAR PANELS AND ARE OUT OF BUISNESS AND HAS BEEN NO HELP. WE ARE PAYING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR SOMETHING THAT DOES NOT WORK !!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS THEY ARE DOING FRAUD AND NOT ASSISTING THERE CUSTOMERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
