Expensive and boring selection of wine and food! The shrimps pasta dish has very little taste, the pasta itself was under cooked and lack flavors.
Starting with the positives: service was excellent throughout the night, very attentive. The burrata with tomato jam and focaccia was a standout and absolutely delicious. I also really enjoyed the Merlot I ordered. The rack of lamb had great flavor and wasn’t gamey at all, which I appreciated, though the cook itself wasn’t quite right. Atmosphere is quiet and intimate enough for a nice conversation. Definitely recommend a reservation. The service was very good, extremely friendly and quick. The duck came out a little dry but the pizza was excellent. Would go again!
This was one of the most enjoyable dining experiences I have ever had. I made a mistake when reserving a table, however the host and front of house manager were able to provide us multiple options for seating regardless of being totally booked up. We ended up sitting at the bar, which was a show in itself! Watching the bartenders pour wine and polish glasses, the chef and Sioux chef work together to cook and plate, and the host and expediter run food and clear plates was all a part of the experience for me.
