Please do your research on other places. We took our 3 month old baby here for tongue tie release. After the 4 weeks of properly doing the stretches and seeing a Chiro it reattached. They took so long to get back to us and wiped their hands of us. So we went to another place to have it re-cut and I can’t speak highly of this other place. I am very grateful to Dr Jones and the team at Enhance Dental for their care. As a doctor myself, I was not aware of the impact a tongue tie can have on various aspects of health until I met Dr Jones. The consultation process was highly professional and comprehensive. Went in about an upper lip tie and posterior tongue tie in a one year old. We were told that without the operation our child would have feeding problems, language problems, breathing problems, back problems and other developmental problems. We felt pressured to go ahead but decided not to. Two years later and none of the threatened problems have happened. UPDATE: It's now eleven years later and still none of the threatened problems have occurred.

After consulting with over three other specialists, all have confirmed that my daughter does not have a tongue tie or any related condition. It is deeply concerning and disappointing that the clinic recommended a surgical procedure on a child without a valid diagnosis. The consultant that looked after us seemed to be someone with no medical background or proper training and is basically reading off a sales script. I have also provided this feed back to the clinic directly and no one responded or acknowledged my email.

I was referred here by an IBCLC and I'm so glad I was. I had no idea as a first-time mum that my little boy had buccal, lip and tongue ties; from the beginning, doctors and midwives said he had an incredible latch, so I didn't even consider it.
