After consulting with over three other specialists, all have confirmed that my daughter does not have a tongue tie or any related condition. It is deeply concerning and disappointing that the clinic recommended a surgical procedure on a child without a valid diagnosis. The consultant that looked after us seemed to be someone with no medical background or proper training and is basically reading off a sales script. I have also provided this feed back to the clinic directly and no one responded or acknowledged my email.

I was referred here by an IBCLC and I'm so glad I was. I had no idea as a first-time mum that my little boy had buccal, lip and tongue ties; from the beginning, doctors and midwives said he had an incredible latch, so I didn't even consider it. Everything was top-notch, from the care before we even entered the doors, to the environment focused on helping mums to relax and babies to regulate with them post procedure, to breastfeeding affirmations and free follow-ups. I strongly advise against visiting Enhance Myofunction Clinic. Seek a pediatrician or qualified medical professional instead of relying on their dental-based approach. They referred me to a lactation consultant they described as “Brisbane’s best,” who then refers me back to them, creating a questionable referral loop. They refused to write a report unless it was for a professional they work with and were unwilling to explain things in simple, layman’s terms.
