My husband who has advanced Alzheimer’s has been in English Meadows for two months now . I was always skeptical about assisted living and nursing homes because of some of the reviews that I have read . I can honestly say that our experience here has been nothing but wonderful . The caregivers know everyone by name and everyone is treated like family . They are patient , kind people doing their very best to make the residents comfortable . My Mom She 85 Years Old been having problems living on Her own, in July 2, 2025 I decide moved my Mom to English Meadow Manassas Campus had been over one month now. Everyone working in the English Meadow Manassas very friendly and very nice, taking very good care of Her, sometimes My Mom personality got mean sometimes but everyone very patient with Her. To whom it may concern, I chose and choose to resign. This is terrible starting with management. Everything is blamed on the staff, when it’s the managers that’s the total problem. They then hire this new DON that has listened to one employee paint a picture of all the others to be monsters. Corporate not paying bills owing money, it’s a 100 degrees outside and the air has been out for at least 2 weeks only broke cause they want pay to maintenance it, gotta do better In memory care they pay the most money. HORRIBLE. NEGLIGENT. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. Our loved one was in memory care here for 10 days and it was 10 days too long. She is 90 years old and has advanced Alzheimer's so we installed a camera in her room so we could keep an eye on her. It was in plain sight and there was even a warning on her door that there was a camera inside. This did not stop the staff from neglecting her, speaking rudely to her and even manhandling her.
