What an amazing orchard/nursery! Mr. England was extremely generous with his time when a friend and myself came to purchase a few trees. He gave us a tour of the place and I learned more about fruit/nut trees than I have all year. It’s easy to see the hard work they have put into the place. It is an outstanding and inspiring example of what can be done with mountain land in the Appalachian region. If you want some unique and awesome varieties of native, improved native, and other unique fruit/nut trees this is your place!
I highly recommend England’s Orchard & Nursery. I have done business with them since last year. I bought 11 Deer Magnet Persimmons (Large/X-Large) last year and planted December 10, 2019. All of the Deer Magnet Persimmon Trees survived the winter and are budding and growing since Spring 2020 started in southeastern Mississippi. I also ordered 10 Deer Magnet Scions as well.
