Steven and the team were amazing! A piston had blown out of the engine on our 1990 Toyota Coaster “Frankie”. We had issues in getting a suitable engine and the quotes for getting it fixed and refurbed were upwards of $26000. Steven helped me locate a 14b to replace the broken 13b we had. It took a while to come in from WA, we were kept up to date on the progress throughout and when it got there was fitted very promptly. I have waited to write this review as I was really peeved with the company but I'll just state what happened. After confirming the engine was the one we needed, after numerous phone calls, I paid the $7500.00 with the core deposit which had not been mentioned previously in the quote and stated on the receipt that was refundable when the old unit was returned. Note: STAY AWAY FROM THEM AND THANK ME! Please stay away from them as much as possible. Given the car to them for engine rebuild and they told me car would be ready in 3 months but ended up taking 7 momths and at the end also charged me $2k extra for miscellaneous expenditures. If anyone wants a whole story please let me know as i have dealt with them for 7 months in all possible ways. Edit: Please don’t lie straight up on my face. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE 🙏 I bought an engine off them and they installed it. They promised me the engine had done less than 100,000km, and it came with 3 months warranty. I came back to them 5 times within that 3 months to tell them there was something not right. My car was not driving like it used to. I could tell they were getting annoyed of me. But I just knew something wasn't right. They kept telling me the car was fine. With less than a week left of my warranty, my car stalled and never turned on again. I got my car ... read more
