The worst “WORST” excuse for a boat mechanic I have ever used!! First tells me the carbs need rebuilt, for $420. For a 50hp outboard. Told me the starter had to be taken off to pull the carbs. LIE #1. After telling him the carbs were already rebuilt, he tells me he would check the spark. Surprise, now it’s a spark issue. He guaranteed a new stator would fix it. He replaced the stator and shockingly it wasn’t fixed. LIE #2. Oh, now it’s the timer plate under the stator. MORE money!! A week later, still not working. LIE #3. So... read more
