Shawna (the customer service rep based out of OH) was incredible! Empathetic and personable, she was able to reduce the stress of running out of propane. As first time home owners (and propane customers) this was exactly what we needed. Meanwhile, Steve the propane technician got to our residence way faster than expected and genuinely provided some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. I like that AmeriGas is monitoring our Propane gas tank level and refills it when needed. Especially as it gets colder outside I appreciate proactive rather than reactive service.
Most frustrating experience I may have ever had was trying to get someone out to get my heat working. Call center is absolutely useless. Essentially had to tell them I had a massive propane leak to finally get local assistance with a simple solution. Didn’t have heat for 2 weeks because it took so long just to have our tank unlocked after it was filled with propane by them. Local people were nice, call center is a disaster. We switched to Huckleberry it was so bad.
This company is big corporation and their customer service is dishonest, unreliable and overseas. You will get no where if you have an issue. I spent 5 months trying to resolve an issue and got no where. Just paid in full to avoid anymore stress. They are the worst company with the worst overseas customer service.
