Been a patient at Fem Center for about 4 years. The service just continues to decline. The front desk is cold and unfriendly. As of today, Ive waited 2 weeks for lab results for a possible infection. If you call the nurse line, they act annoyed to be bothered. Recently made an emergency same day appt with a PA. Was late for the appt, my fault, but first time ever...and had to rechedule. I was told that I had a tilted uterus and that I needed an ultrasound and a follow up clinic. I am 32 years old and always have an annual womens visit and this is the first I have ever been told about my uterus being tilted. I called a friend who is also an Ob/Gyn and he said there is no reason for me to need an ultrasound just because my uterus is tilted and I am not experiencing any other symptoms. Be Careful. I believe they care about selling their products than they do their patients. Also, they do not listen if it involves insurance and how to code a visit.
I dont understand them at all, I went in for a thermal scan for my breast, I was told it would take 4 weeks to get the test results back. When I called to get a consultation over the phone they told me it would cost \$125 for a phone consult and would not be covered by insurance. I said OK I will make an appt and get my results, she said it would still cost \$125 for an office visit because I do not have insurance to get my results. They are all about money. The front office is terrible!! They are fighting with me over an appointment that I cancelled 2 weeks before the appt for a no show charge of \$50, I even had them tranfer my records at the time I cancelled. Very crooked!! By the way I will not pay for an appt that I cancelled.
